Little League Bat Requirements

Little League International has implemented a new bat standard for 2018. This standard will remain the place for the 2019 season as well. This is a requirement of Little League, with which B.A.L.L. must comply as a Little League chartered organization. Due to this standard imposed in 2018, all bats that do not posses the USA Bat Stamp are not allowed to be used.  B.A.L.L. has provided each team with a standard size bat, that meets the requirements.  To learn more, visit the Little League International website: http://www.littleleague.org/learn/equipment/baseballbatinfo/USA-Baseball-Bat-Standard-FAQs.htm

The discount does not apply to prep league, or players age 12 who are playing up to prep. Final deadline to register for ages 9-12 is March 17, 2019, after which time players will be added to a waiting list. Evaluations for players ages 9-12 will be March 23, 2019 (details will follow closer to that date).  Final deadline to register for ages 5-8 is March 24, 2019.

Multiplayer discount

Families registering more than one player will receive a $20 reduction for each additional child's registration fee (not including prep). The discount is on the fee for the younger player. IMPORTANT NOTE -- to get the discount you MUST click "Register Another Player" on the review page. Failure to do so will result in a forfeiture of your family's discounted rates.

Scholarship

Players may be eligible for scholarship or discounted registration. Please contact the information coordinator (found on the B.A.L.L. website) to inquire and understand what information is needed to register.

Playing Up

All players will be assigned to their age division at registration based on their birthdate. If you want your child to play up to the next age level, you will need to send your request in writing to the B.A.L.L. Board by emailing our Vice President at ba.littleleaguevp@gmail.com, before March 11, 2019.

You will need to include your last year’s coach and a brief description of why you are seeking your child to play up a level. You may be asked to meet with members of the board, and will be given a decision about your child’s placement prior to evaluations. We will also base our decision on the number of coaches, teams and players we have at the level you wish to play. If you are granted the ability to play up and the fee increases, we will bill you separately. Under no circumstances do we allow players to play down a level.

STOP!

*****If you have received a discount code, you are not eligible for the Family Discount.

You must register each child as an individual registrant to avoid getting credited for the family discount*****
